When you’re not sure…

I just got off a two and a half hour consult with a business owner who’s looking to monetize the leads he’s going to be generating from Facebook for his client.

We talk about some high level stuff like what his client's business model should look like, what the front end sales process and back end follow up process should look like.

We even got really geeky and talked about how to track the leads, where to put the tracking, how to set up reporting, etc.

What’s funny is that while I was showing him exactly where things needed to go, I said:

“Isn’t this what you already do with your clients?”

“Yeah, it is but I wasn’t sure and when I see it like the way you’re showing me, it makes a lot more sense to me now.”

That’s the power of having a sounding board.

Someone to bounce ideas with.

To brainstorm high level strategy level.

But can also help you with the nitty gritty details and tech stuff.

Sometimes you know already what to do, but you’re not sure.

So you solicit the help of somebody who has done it many times and can explain it to you that just makes sense.

That’s who you want to be for your clients and customers.
